I Am So Glad I’m My Own Boss!

Working for myself is rewarding and enjoyable. I get to choose my hours and I have an incredibly short commute. It’s great and today I have even more reasons to love being my own boss: 10 Things Human Resources Won’t Say.

It appears that the corporate working world is even worse than when I left it due to a work injury eight years ago. It seems you can’t express yourself online on your own time and on your own personal blog without being in danger of getting fired if the boss doesn’t like what you have to say. I thought we had free speech in this country! Apparently toeing the line on corporate time is no longer enough!

While I used to make more money in my corporate job than I do now, I am far more satisfied and the fact that I can say what I want and do what I want without fear that I am being watched or that what I say may cost me my job makes me even more grateful that I am no longer part of the rat race.
